Best for me for indoors and outdoors both are BEGONIAS! The cheap ones that you buy in a six pack. I have kept them for years, with an initial purchase price of less than $1. I used to bring them in to my classroom for the winter and the cheerful blooms all winter long were such a bright addition. Over holiday breaks, when the building was closed and unheated, the begonias stayed alive. My kind of plant. *Blush*
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
