I think most of us came here two years ago a little scorched around the edges from scratches and burns we might have received in other places. We weren't sure that this new place would be any different. But once here, we settled in and found the neighborhood we were looking for all along.
The big difference is that ATP is member oriented. What we ask for, we usually get if it's workable. And if it isn't workable, we are told why. Our database and our recommendations and our ideas/articles are all from members. If
@dave comes up with a new idea, new process, he throws it out to the members to see how it flies. If the members love it, then it's a go and if not, then it's reworked or pushed aside. And if you notice he gives kind consideration to every request, no matter how small or insignificant.
I think the fact that every new member feels quickly comfortable and accepted here, spreads its way around the forums, making it easy to feel right at home, no matter where we come from or what we left behind. And that comfort zone is within anybody's grasp. It isn't like we have to be in some kind of elite group in order to fit in.
Bottom line is there is no other site nearly as member oriented; so just sit back and enjoy. And
