We are on a slope too but its not so steep that I couldnt manage the walker. It took me 2 years to get over needing the walker.I just hate to admit I am older. When my GF suggested a scooter I just had to face it.
I took a pass on the scooter because i think the walker will keep me stronger. I dont want to look completely disabled.
The walker is a great relief from pain in knees,ankles and feet,thats what I needed most.
When I lead Womens Groups on living alone,I told them "if you act like a victim,you will find someone who will abuse you"
