We had 2 3/16 inches of what we needed really bad...rain! I heard that someone near the Lakehills area got over 5 inches. Agreed, nothing from the water hose can duplicate this...plus it even fell on land that would never have anything but actual rain! So maybe some wildflowers can come back.

I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
