We had so much fun last year when we had Daylilies Week, that Dave and Trish decided to keep the "weeks" idea and expand it to all kinds of plants! Every month has had a different plant. Well, Daylilies are so popular, Dave and Trish decided they should have another week!
The Daylily Stories Contest that Sharon, Char and I held a week or so back was just our own little warm-up for the upcoming events! We wanted to be able to pass around some
because we knew that there would be some nice Not-A-Raffle-Raffle PRIZES to spend all your
on! and there are!
Our own forum member Sunday (Sunny) has offered up a triple fan of two lovely daylilies, Char is donating a membership to AHS, Tink3472 (Michele) is donating a lovely embroidered apron and one of James Halls introductions... Melanie Mason is boxing up a special box of goodness from Longlesson Farm, there are prizes from Oakes, from Shaw's Sunshine Garden... so get those tickets bought for a chance at some great prizes!

Stay tuned for the Podcast - which will feature Melanie Mason of Longlesson Farm!
Also - Spunky1, our own Fred Manning is running his annual NAME THE DAYLILY CONTEST this week - yep that's right.... come up with a winning name, and he will send you some of the brand new introduction that you are naming! This contest is always so much fun!
Here is a link to the details and how you can add your names for a chance to win...

All week long, there will be informative articles and information about daylilies, so be sure to check the HOME PAGE by clicking that little "house" icon in the far upper left of the new layout - or by clicking on the big All Things Plants logo to the left of the Banner photo on any page where it appears. Either thing will take you to the ATP home page, where the articles and other Daylily Week items will be found!
And -- providing I manage to get the rest of it written --
-- this week Char and I will start up the
ATP Hybridizer Series
again! So watch for it to pop up in the Daylily Forum soon!
Special thanks to all the members who have helped Dave, Trish, Char, Sharon and I pull this together!
Daylily photo is Raptor (Biaglow). An old favorite of mine, taken after a heavy summer rain.
