The virtual seed packets is certainly doable and I'm willing, but the big question in my mind is: is there even a need for this? It's great to share seeds with people, but you're describing a fairly complicated system for a problem that may not even need solving.

Maybe we should just let people offer out seeds through the forums and let it grow organically from there. I kind of like sending things to people when I find out that I have something they want. It feels good and it forms direct connections between gardeners that mature over the years.

I don't think we want to be a seed bank for new gardeners to come and get free seeds. We're more looking for connections and sharing and things like that.

Those are my thoughts.
