Yes Rick more specific information would be helpful.

If you believe you know the species or cultivar of your plant then your image(s) can be uploaded in that entry instead of the genus/parent plant entry.

ex. The Adeniums (Adenium) parent entry is a good place to upload a photo of an Adenium for which you don't know the cultivar or species name.
Desert Rose (Adenium 'Double Waterfall') is where you should upload photos of this specific cultivar of Adenium
and Desert Rose (Adenium obesum) is where you would upload an image of this species which is either not a cultivar or is an unknown cultivar of A. obesum.

If you don't find the plant you have in the database you can either:
1. Propose it be added by selecting Add a new plant to the database on the Plant Database home page or
2. Post it in this forum for discussion/addition.
