That's a great story Tom. Sometimes our best *things* come along when we're not only not looking for them, we'd really rather not have them!! What a great decision you made to take that puppy, so long ago. I hope that Emmy lives another year or two for you -- my Maddie made it to 16, maybe Emmy will too.

I'm sitting here having my morning coffee, with my five-month-old puppy Panda tucked in next to me -- which is a lesson that there is life, and happiness, after the loss of a very beloved dog.

Panda yesterday -- toys all around her, but she plays with the empty water bottle!! Shrug! Hilarious!
