Vickie, kind of you to call that a lake. It barely makes it to pond.
It is triangular, perhaps 250-300' per side. Most of the summer it is covered in duck weed or something, and is not very pretty. The rest of the year, though, it is a nice view. Lots of waterfowl use it. And, we see a lot of other wildlife from the kitchen window, from several kinds of turtles to mink, weasels, turkey, pheasant, rabbit, fox, coyote, deer, and everything in between. Lots of birds too... Meadow, woods, water birds. Never know what we will see. It's been like living in a park. I have been here since 1984.
