Boil unpeeled potatoes (preferably organic) until tender. Transfer to a dish or bowl and smash to desired consistency with a potato masher. Add a little fresh cracked pepper and butter (if desired). Soooo good.

Save the cooled water to water plants.

I garden for the pollinators.
