During Monday night, Suey was ill......running a fever & lethargic...brought her into the vet's yesterday morning with tears in my eyes. He checked for lymphoma, but it hasn't returned. Then he checked her throat where the tumor was......the tumor is gone! She is on a special med, & he thought the tumor may have shrunk a little, but it's completely gone! Decided she was starting another UTI, put her on meds & kept her overnight. I picked her up this morning & she's doing fine......I don't know how long things will stay like this, but the vet told me a Westie patient of his has bladder cancer. The dog was put on the same med Suey is taking & is still fine after 15 months, so I am more hopeful about her right now......
