Boy this thread is just full of fun ideas. We had a very large stack of old brick but are using it up pretty quickly. I did this brick edging where one brick sits on edge and another lays flat. You should be able to run the wheels of the lawn mower down the flat brick and forgo having to run the weedeater along it. Next spring I am going to do the same edging along a raised bed but I am going to add a row of blue glass bottles to the inner row. It will make the bed higher and the double row of bricks should help keep the bottles from getting broken. Sorry I have no pictures now to share of the edging I put in but here is a few from my parents house of the edging my Dad put in and this was the inspiration for the work I did.
