It's been quite hot here too. There are dragonflies in my garden that swoop down into the spray mist while I'm watering. But dragonflies love water! And they are definitely predators, gobbling up many pests.

This cutie has been hanging out for a couple of weeks now.
I'll have to go back and see what species......

And a bonus ~ the dragonfly loves to snack on mosquitoes; something I haven't found biting me in the garden lately!
