Yep, it's nice to be able to see pretty pictures of snow from afar. Sort of like enjoying the Amorphophallis without suffering the fragrance.

Ted, the Fuchsia in your first picture above sure looks a lot like one of my New Guinea impatiens. Gorgeous color. I think my white begonia is trying to tell me something, it made a little leaf on one of the big flower scapes! Never seen one do this before, have you? I'm making cuttings of this huge plant and getting ready to re-vamp the whole hanging basket it's in.

About all I've got blooming nicely right now besides orchids are the Shooting Stars Clerodendron which I really didn't think would make it through our 'winter' weather the last few weeks. Usually when it drops below 40 they burn and pout and drop all their leaves and stand there naked for the next 3 months. Now, if it will just stay warm . . .
