Arlene - you have given me inspiration to try again. This is the forsythia that I have. I bought the plant so that I can have blooms in early winter but my mother pruned it back severely about 3 years ago (not knowing that I wanted it full and not short and tidy) and it is only starting to get a little bigger.
Here is a photo of Pink Frost from a couple of weeks ago. It is past its prime by now. I had mistakenly ID it as pink lady when I posted it earlier. I would love to get some of the newer varieties, but I am fast funning out of room in my garden.
