Went out to look at the garden this morning and was amazed at how much things had changed just since yesterday. Now I realize all this did not actually just happen in a day, but even though I call myself looking very closely at the plants everyday, even though I pull dead leaves and deadhead the blooms, there are just so many little things I fail to notice. Today I have my first rose bloom of the year. I also have an Iris blooming that was just planted this year in a mixture of bulbs, plus I have an Iris almost ready to bloom that has been planted for two years, and my Columbine that I planted well over two years ago is getting ready to bloom finally, don't remember for sure what kind it is but believe I have narrowed it down to two possibilities, then there is always that chance it was something else I planted in some of those seed mixture packets. Anyhow I was just so excited after looking at the garden this morning and seeing how well it is coming along I just had to crow a little bit.
