Greg, I have the same problem so I keep some nuts or trail bars in my pocket when I am out and about. Otherwise I get lightheaded too!

I've killed every Pacific Coast iris I have tried to grow. I think I gave them too much summer water. They are natives to the Northwest so are accustomed to getting little summer water. Just warning you!
