I tend to think that the warts are a freak and contribute to the interest of the plant but that's as fair as I go with merit. The plant's leaves are to fat and extra long, as well as (at the time) the color was not amazing or different .

Maybe be an ugly duckling? Eternal hope here.



Exactly why i like it! It's not your typical, "Prim & Proper" Semp Hilarious! Hilarious! But colors & shapes can be different here on
the East Coast than in your "Balmy " climate in the Northwest. My temp range goes from well below zero to well above 100 for days & weeks at a time. So this could look like a completely different plant here. I don't get those nice brite clear reds you all show in pics. unless they are grown in shade here. in the sun everything goes a deep dark burgundy
Here is a prime example. the 1st pic is a pot of Pacific Knight i have in a shady spot gets sun in winter only..taken this morning after a all night rain
the 2nd and 3rd are seedlings i took from this pot last spring, and has grown in full sun conditions since. took these yesterday5/13/2014
