Looks like a lily to me. You can always carefully dig down alongside the bulb and see if it is comprised of scales. However, lily leaves at this stage can easily break off and that will set the bulb back quite a bit.

Not all lilies are equal-- some do make larger leaves than others, and these "basal" leaves can be bigger than leaves on the stems.
