I have been working up in Alaska this month and enjoying the year round sunshine and 65ยบ break from the hot Texas sun. I have been up to Flat Top Mountain (3500 alt) among the hemlock, The Farmer's Market and the giant veggies, The Coastal Trail along Cook's Inlet at low tide, and all around Town with it's gorgeous hanging baskets of petunias, and beds of tuberous begnoias, ornamental, kale, and other big flowers. The flowers, vegetables and foliage are extra large because of the 17-18 hours of daylight. Next week I've planned a hiking trip to Alyeska/Winner's Creek and will get some waterfall photos.
