I tried Char's trick for a leaning scape thus year... Works like a charm! I had one "leaner" at the edge of a bed and I didn't want to get purple spent bloom slimed every time I walked in the narrow path, so tried this trick...
(almost 5 foot scape on seedling blooming the first year ... It better stand up when there is more than one fan or it meets the compost pile! )
