Here is a close up of Amistad salvia. I'm trying to decide if I like it better than Black and Blue. I like both, but only have room for about one large salvia each year. Amistad is taller and more open, but that may have to do with where it's planted. Love the color.
The Buzz butterfly bushes seemed slow to get going but are doing well now. These are 3 of the 5 growing beside my neighbor's driveway.
The heleniums are just starting and the I saw the first mum blooms opened today. Goldenrods are going to be opened in just days too. All of which tells me fall is coming.
Not really blooms, but the ornamental peppers are adding color too.
Royal Jester had 15 blooms opened today.
