Thanks Everyone!!!!!, Evan it is a Musa Ta nee...that particular bed is about 35'x15' deep. The bananas I just plant in the Spring and with the clay, most of the time they will stay pretty good where they are till they get going.
MJ, I dig them in the late Fall, and take all the leaves off except the last to help it get going in the Spring. I just stand them up in the garage or lay them in the crawl space till they start showing signs of growth toward the end of Feb.- early March. They do go dormant.
