Oh, critter, you are not the only one who likes stuff with that "lived in" look! I have an old ice box in my kitchen. It belonged to my Aunt and my Mom managed to score it for me when she passed. One of the things I love about it is the silly coded price markings inside the top compartment. They are peculiar to the local thrift shop in the area I grew up, so I know exactly where she got it. And how much she paid for it!
No way would I ever try to remove them!
