Oh wow, Toni, I am so sorry!
You can try to root a piece of the maple from small branches. The Pine might be ok IF you can get those roots back into the ground, and brace the whole tree with real sturdy stakes. I've had trees blow out of the ground in storms and if they stayed wet until I replanted them, they survived.
We had rain yesterday but no tornadoes, even though we had a "TOR CON" of 6 or 7. Our main iris show is today and I was planning to select iris a few days early and store them inside, but ended up way too busy. Last night, wouldn't you know, we had strong winds and another rainstorm, so all the new blooms were damaged.
I entered 18 and ended up with 9 blue ribbons, 8 red, 1 white. The show was at our Botanical gardens, along with a rose show and a daylily sale and all kinds of special events for mothers. Thousands of people came. It was soooo crowded, but fun!
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
