On the 3rd day God created plants.

While outside tending to my plants, I smelled something dead. : Blinking The odor was getting stronger as l moved around. Confused l figured the retched smell was coming from the woods. Shrug!

Then, as l started toward the potting area, l found the culprit....Amorphophallus paeoniifolius.

I saw the flower bud the other day and

forgot about it.
One look and l had instant recognition that this was the cause of the stink.

I have moved the plant quite aways away until all is fresh air around it.

These flowers can smell like a dead cow in the hot August sun, enough to gag a maggot. Hilarious!

Sure was glad it wasn't a dead critter, l'd have to be scrubbing on them dogs. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
