Makanudo, I also tried for years to grow blueberries in alkaline soil, and failed each time. Now I grow gojiberry, blackberry, raspberry, currant, gooseberry and others organically, without adding anything at all. Goji has some of the same health benefits as blueberry, so you might look into that if you cannot get the blueberries to thrive.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
