Wishing everyone a safe and happy Independence Day!

This morning I was having a serious case of macro envy!!! Actually it started yesterday when I saw this albino bug, maybe a nymph of some kind on the Black-eyed-Susan flowers. I tried to take a picture of it but none of them came out very clearly. It's a strange looking little thing! I went back out this morning and just when I had given up looking for it, there it was on another flower close to the ground. Today it has more of a defined design on its back ~ looks like a cute face (until I download the pictures for a closer look, now it looks more like an angry face). This morning it was in an awkward postition so couldn't get any different angle shots.

From yesterday. Isn't it weird looking?
