I've found the opposite to be true. Since I started feeding the birds (over winter only) there are more birds living around and less bugs. Love the bug eating birds! Some of the birds that eat beetles around here are Phoebes, Barn swallows, Bluebirds, Cardinals and even the Evening bats will eat beetles. But I probably should give credit to my chickens and other creatures that eat the grubs and beetle larvae. Lovey dubby Oh, and woodpeckers eat beetles too. Thumbs up
