Teresa...I can't believe ou could water it enough in two weeks to kill it..unless maybe if you were using antifreeze or something else list that..
Yes it grows in full sun through out the tropics..but that doesn't mean your nursery plant ever saw it as it sat inside under some filtered light sun cloth ...or ever felt the wind...or the evaporative powers real sunlight brings with it...full exposure might have been too much to intergrate into the world as it had known it for all of it's life...just a consideration..
