That's really good growth for a first year rose, Neal! What did you feed it? Blood?
I think I'll plant it next to the Caramella Fairy Tale I just moved. I double checked today and every site lists those as growing to 3'.
Now I'm wondering about the rest of the roses I ordered. From what I found, the only one that is supposed to get huge is Honeymoon. Oh and of course 7 Sisters.

The first 3 HT's do get a bit taller around here, but not wider.
