Maridell's blog: Daylilies 2011

Posted on Jul 23, 2011 9:45 AM

Most recent Daylily, planted last year. This unnamed is doing well in the front garden. I love the velvety look of it. But, it is going to be too big for the space...will have to do something with it next Spring.

I have been able to properly ID this (7-1-12) as Night Beacon from old Roundup notes.

Banned in Boston. Came from a Iowa Roundup in 2008. Not looking so good this year. In a hot spot...some of the leaves have a bit of brown on them.

Eloquent Silence. Came from an Iowa Roundup (in 2008?).

Bonanza. Purchased in 2004.

Halls Pink. Purchased maybe 8 years ago. It never really looks pink although in this photo it is a little visible...wonder if it is properly named. I do still have the tag.

August 5th: Here is a NO ID. Came from a gal where I worked. We had a small plant swap. This one produced a couple flowers a month or more ago and then new sprouts came up for another round of flowers. The plant is very small, did not grow much at all.

I have one other Daylily on the back side of the house I have to check on. No flowers from it at all, and is a NO ID.
