CDsSister's blog: September Flooding in Colorado

Posted on Sep 13, 2013 2:23 PM

I just went out for the first time in several days. The sky has turned back to it's normally gorgeous blue instead of ominous gray.

It seems I only blog when the weather turns. Perhaps I should have been a weather person. J

For much of the summer we had intense heat so we welcomed the change when it first became overcast and dark. But after 24 hours most of us were ready for the sunshine to return.

When it began to rain, and rain and rain it was really strange.

Now so much of our beautiful state has been inundated with water and many have lost homes and a few have even lost their lives.

My plants look OK. Since they are mostly succulents they should drain quickly and do OK.
