Here is Tom with Gavin's Point Dam in the background mid June. Waters are being released at record rates and will be for another couple months. Here in Sioux City the lovely river front is flooded. Businesses and the Dakota Dunes community is surrounded by levees. One exit off the Interstate 29 (flanks the downtown area of Sioux City) is closed due to flooding.
