I have a sticky cinquefoil plant that appeared late last fall and survived the winter in a container on my deck. I thought it was a strawberry plant until this spring when it branched out and bloomed. Has anyone else seen one of these in Iowa? I have never seen it before and I spend a lot of time looking at wild plants.
