slowcala's blog: Dreamsicle Pie

Posted on Mar 8, 2023 3:51 AM

This receipt comes from a cookbook titled "Recipes from the Heart"
1 (8-oz) Cream Cheese; softened
1 Cup Orange Juice
1 (4-oz) pkg. Instant vanilla pudding (dry)
1 (4-oz) pkg. Orange Jello (dry)
(12-oz) ctn. Cool Whip
1 9" Graham Cracker pie crust

Beat cream cheese on high until smooth. Beat in orange juice, pudding mix, and Jello. Stir in half of the Cool Whip. Pour this mixture into the pie crust. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Garnish with orange slices and mint leaves, if desired. Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.

While you're eating this pie remember back when you went into that old timey grocery store and walked right up to the cooler and picked out that delicious Dreamsicle and peeled back the paper and started eating it immediately so it wouldn't melt. Oh, those were the days.
