A lot has Changed
Posted on Apr 10, 2018 9:41 AM

You know, it has been a while since I posted on here.
A lot has happened.
My husband got cancer and I had to find Charley a new home. Now you all know, I prayed to God for someone to get Charley that would love him as much as I did.
Thankfully god blessed me with someone who would do just that.
A lady from Norman, Oklahoma. Her name is Cindy Testermon. Now she is a dear friend and gives me updates on Charley.
Charley is loved so much.
Yes, I do miss him, but I had to give Robert my full attention as he was traveling thru the Cancer fight. He had Multiple meloma which is a caner of the bones.
His kidney doctor found it. It bout tore us up, but my husband is a fighter and we got thru it. Now, dr. says we are cancer free, God is Great.
He wanted a change , so what did he decide??
Move to Florida. I love it here.
I don't have Charley but , you all know I can't be without my critters
Thumb of 2018-04-10/Ridesredmule/df2001 Meet Timber. He is not a beautiful big red mule but, I have him and his two older brothers, Radar O'Riley and Kaluha. (Chihuahuas) Yes I still have Oscar but we have to set dog pen up for him before he comes down. Robert is taking care of him. Be so glad when Robert and Oscar gets here too.

Heavy frost
Posted on Dec 1, 2011 8:15 AM

Frost upon the Pumpkin this morning.  Fine way to start out December 1, at least it isn't snow.

The sun is shinning so, I know it isn't going to last all day.

The camellias are blooming too!  I have another taller one that will bloom in January.  I love seeing them bloom after everything else  is having their winter rest.

Rain and coolin' down.
Posted on Nov 28, 2011 4:52 PM

Brrrrrrr! I do believe winter is finally trying to show up here in my area.  Last week was beautiful, shirt-sleeve weather but not today.

I just am not a winter person.  I was sitting here at my computer and felt a thunder of hooves.  The Longears love the cooler weather . Charley and those donkeys were outside rudding in the mud and sandy soil.  If I'd gone out any faster I might have been hit with a mudball.   They have this thing where they are running and suddenly buck into the air.  I wish people could see how beautiful Charley is when he runs.  It is like he is floating in the air , it is absolutely beautiful, almost breathe-taking and that is something for me to be speechless.

Abigail's little chicken has really started to grow since I let them out of the pen.  Now little Kaitlyn and her Mom, Abigail are ceeping and clucking all over the place.  What a happy sound.

Abigail will find a bug and calls Kaitlyn over to eat it.  sometimes that is a pretty good sized bug for such a little chicken but she eats it down....

They called for rain sunday but it actually didn't get here til last night.  As always we sure do need that rain.

Every day is a blessing and this is another one.  The Lord has done us good.

November

Abigail hatched out a baby chick.  She was really hatched in October, what a sweet baby!!!

We finally got our first Frost.  The brugs look so pitiful.  but got most of them in my little greenhouse and lots of starts in house.

My christmas ?Thanksgiving cactus is blooming.  Has two different blooms and it is so pretty...

Charley and the donkey kids winter coats are growing out and I even heard them running around in the pasture.  Enjoying the coolness after the long hot summer.

My gout plant is blooming inside.  Once it got to blooming, I guess it likes it.  The blooms started out a light color but are turning orange like they were outside.

I want to make some Mini gardens, girls tell me you can make them in any small container.  I am going to see what I can do.
