Posted on Nov 20, 2015 5:41 AM

Hi to all of my friends in All things plants
I am a researcher in field of wild plants in Iran region. my country is a huge territory with different climatic conditions from Hyrcanian region in north of Iran (which affected by Euro-siberian big climatic region) with more than 800 mm yearly precipitation and millions of hectares hardwood forests with a varietal flora. In the other side, there is "Loot desert" with less than 40 mm yearly precipitation and different kinds of sand dunes hills, and special flora !? Also, a huge part of my country dedicated to mountainous regions(in north and west of Iran) with a remarkable height (more than 4500 meter). And at last a huge part in south of Iran has a different climatic conditions. This region affected by African and Equatorial big climatic region and we can say its another world from the point of "plants variety" view. So the variety of Iran flora is enormous! and I'll be so glad to help for creating a better information source. Yours sincerely, Dr. S. Azadi
