The Green Pages: Sterling Greenery, Sterling MA (Local Garden Centers)

Sterling Greenery is a 4-acre garden center, pond store and stone yard located just off exit 5 on I-190 in Sterling, MA. They're closed in the heart of winter, but the rest of the year they have season-appropriate plants and garden materials. Their plants are both beautiful and reliable, and they are the home of the $49 landscape design. Most important to me, they carry some Coast of Maine organic products, which I really like. The employees are super helpful and nice too. They also have a pond store, and they sometimes present seminars. They often carry plants that you can't find in other centers in the area. Prices are a bit high, but the quality and availability make it worthwhile.
