The Green Pages: Harris Seeds (E-Commerce Companies)

I used the Harris Gardentrends site to place multiple seed orders earlier this year (linked at the top of the Harris page). They offer smaller packets of seed at reduced prices. I had excellent germination with all of them. Easy site to use, wonderful pictures and good selection. I'll use them again.

I've ordered from Harris a few times. I've had great germination rates. The packets do contain larger quantities of seed, but it's great for someone like myself that joins in on seed swaps. There is always enough to share with a garden bud!

Have ordered both vegetable and flower seeds from Harris. Seeds are well packaged and I have had very good germination rates. Prices and selection are better than most seed companies that I have seen.

Good selection of vegetables at reasonable prices, and bulk quantities are available. They are the retail outlet for Harris Moran and carry varieties difficult to find elsewhere. Excellent, courteous service.

I have ordered from Harris several times and I liked the selection, the website, the customer service, and the shipping times. I got large packets of seeds so I can share or trade.

I agree. I've always been happy with my seeds from Harris. Prices are competitive and germination rates high.

The only negative I can think of is that sometimes quantities are much larger than I want or need. That's good if you're a professional grower, but sometimes a little too much for a home gardener.

I was a little hesitant to order from Harris because I hadn't ordered from them before, but they had such a good selection and such good prices that I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. I will order from them again. I also ordered quite a few seeds from them this year. So far I'm having good luck with the germination of those I have planted.

Well pleased with all seeds I've ordered over the past 15 years from Harris Seeds. Seed count is ample and germination is high.

Harris Seeds has quite a variety of seeds for herbs, vegetables, and flowers. In addition they offer vegetable transplants, as well as supplies for most of your growing needs.

I've only recently noticed they've been around since 1879. Quite a success for a seed company to have such longevity in these days.
