The Green Pages: Ferndale Iris and Daylily Nursery (E-Commerce Companies)

I have bought Iris several times from Robynne & Cliff at Ferndale and have never had a problem. They only do mail order (you have to email to get the current catalogue), but prices are very good value (sometimes much cheaper than elsewhere) and the customer service is excellent. When the rhizomes are on the small side (depending on the time of year), they have always included an extra piece. Sometimes this has meant I have gotten two flowering plants the following season!

Ferndale is a great nursery to source some older bearded irises that the bigger nurseries no longer stock as well as some of the newer varieties. Their pricing is very reasonable. Their communication is welcoming and emails are answered promptly. The iris rhizomes I received from them had healthy leaves and roots and a few offsets. I highly recommend this nursery.
