Currently, this is more a thumbs up for ollas in general. My sister gave me three ollas this spring that tenants had left behind and I am very impressed with how well they work. One big plus is, the top of the soil isn't moist, so weed seeds don't sprout! Also, no worries of too much/not enough water. The plant takes what it needs. Last year, ollas were everywhere. This year, now that I want them, there was a shortage. Couldn't find them locally, so I went on line. Shortage there, too. Wrote to the company and have received several very helpful emails and I look forward to using their products in the spring. They do offer bulk prices so if you intend to buy in case quantities be sure to ask!
