I was a little worried about purchasing larger sized shrubs and how they would survive shipping. My 3 shrubs (3-gallon size) all arrived safely without even a leaf out of place. It was packaged with the care and professionalism of an exceptional nursery outfit. First of all, the package was delivered standing upright! The heavy duty cardboard box was approximately 8x8x24 inches high with plenty of room for the pot and plant stems. The pot had practically no room to move from side to side, and there was an extra piece of heavy duty cardboard placed at the top of the pot and attached to the box walls, which secured the pot from sliding up or down, protecting the plant stems during shipping and handling. This is a rare case where I feel that the shipping costs are worth every penny! |
