| Recommended by jathton - Nov 15, 2019 4:23 PM The first edition of this book was published in 1998... and it very quickly became one of the most-frequently-used books in my gardening collection. It provides the reader/gardener with an amazing number of practical recommendations on how to best care for the perennial plants in their garden. I believe I read somewhere that in the years since its publication it has become the best-selling book in the Timber Press collection of gardening books. That makes perfect sense to me... since I have never found such detailed information about perennial maintenance in any other book... or collection of books. I was very pleased to recently discover Ms. DiSabato-Aust published an updated version of this book in 2017. Any gardener who takes their perennial borders seriously should have this book on their shelf. |
