The Green Pages: Swallowtail Garden Seeds (E-Commerce Companies)

I ordered several types of seeds for the first time from Swallowtail Garden Seeds in the fall of 2017. I ordered, Clarkia mountain garland double mix, Columbine Origami mix, Foxglove Camelot mix, Foxglove Dalmatian Purple, Heuchera Firefly, Heuchera Newest Hybrids, and Gaura The Bride. I had excellent germination on all of them. The amount in each packet is very good. The service and shipping is impeccable. I will definitely order from them again. Very impressed! Also the variety of seeds they offer is outstanding!

Great service. They even emailed that their shipment would be delayed due to the wildfires that were raging through the area at the time. But I hadn't even noticed the delay and the seeds arrived quickly. I used them for the great selection of herbs and echinacea that are not widely available.

Swallowtail Gardens has great seeds! I love their variety. I've always gotten great germination. Often the packs have so many seeds that I have plenty to share. I've never been disappointed with anything I've grown from their seeds.

This is a great company to order seeds from. I like the selection and the easy website that makes ordering quick. The seeds are packed well and shipped promptly after ordering. I have been ordering from this company for years.

The seeds I have purchased from this company have always germinated and I would highly recommend this company for purchasing seeds. Great pictures and descriptions of all plants. Shipping is fast and the cost is low.

Love Swallowtail seeds and check them out every year for new varieties. I had a problem with one of the seeds I ordered once and they made it good for me. My germination rates have been good to excellent. Great seed store.

I've ordered from Swallowtail Garden Seeds for several years now. I love their great selection. I usually gravitate towards their hollyhock, viola, zinnia, and flowering vine seeds. They carry more varieties than are usually found elsewhere. Both the website and the seed packets themselves have great growing info too and the service has always been excellent.

I love Swallowtail Garden for seeds. It's one of the first places I look to add something new to my seed addiction. Always a generous amount of fresh seeds with great germination.

I have purchased seeds from Swallowtail for the past three years. Germination is excellent. The seeds arrive quickly and one side of each seed packet has all the information you need for sowing, light, germination. I should also add that I first heard about Swallowtail gardens from other gardeners here on NGA.

I just received my first order from Swallowtail, and was amazed! I decided to order from them, due to the great reviews here, and I couldn't have been happier! I placed my order very late on Sunday, and they were shipped on Monday! I had a short list of about 10 things to order, but noticed that there was free shipping on orders over $40. I shouldn't have read that! My order far exceeded that amount, but I was thrilled anyway!

The seeds were very nicely packaged. Each envelope has the plant information, and then planting instructions. The seeds were then placed either in a plastic bag inside of the little envelope, or in the case of very tiny seeds, they were put in a glassine envelope, and then in a plastic bag, and then in another envelope! Fragile seeds were sent in a small tube, which really impressed me.

I was also extremely impressed with the variety of seeds that they carry, and their prices are outstanding. Their site is also great, giving you information on each plant, and how to plant it. I loved their list of deer resistant plants too. I bought a lot off of that list, and saw some things that I wouldn't have thought to buy.

I really love this company!

I needed to update this. As of today, I love this company even more!

As mentioned above, I put in a large order recently. I never compared what my invoice said, against the packets of seeds, because there were too many to bother with. I recognized all of the names on the packets, and figured it was all good. Imagine my surprise today when I received another package from Swallowtail in the mail, even though I hadn't ordered anything! It said that they possibly sent me one package of incorrect seeds, and had enclosed the packet that I should have received! They also refunded my money for this package! I was shocked, and very happy! They wrote a personal letter, letting me know what the seedlings should look like, in case I had already planted the other package, and noticed that they didn't look correct.

I think I need to place another order with them. I am so happy to have found such an honest and ethical company to deal with!

Swallowtail Garden Seeds is always prompt and accurate. I always get excellent germination from their seeds. Check out their Agastache selection. That alone is reason to visit their site.

Oh my gosh! I go crazy with buying flower seeds here. Such a huge selection, great prices, and great service. I have already ordered three times this year and that doesn't include when I placed one order, realized the next day I had missed some things, emailed them to see whether I could add to my order, and they actually emailed me back! I even discovered vegetable seeds here. Imagine that! LOL! Swallowtail Seeds will always be one of my go-to places for seeds,

I always buy too much from Swallowtail! They just have so much to choose. Great customer service. I once called them to ask a question. The woman helping me did not know the answer, but she hopped right on the Internet and got my question answered right away! Once my mom had just submitted an order and realized she forgot some items. She emailed them and the next day they confirmed they could add them to her order. Great germination too.
