I've been ordering from Park seed for over 30 years. Their seeds are top notch. I like the gold foil packets. This seems to preserve the seeds for a much longer time. I've accidentally left my seeds in the garden during a rain and the Parks packets still deliver (not a recommended strategy, though😅). The bio domes are well built and will function for many years. The live plants always arrive in great condition. Their customer service has never disappointed me.

I had a small order with Park Seed this year. Very fast service, and so far I'm happy with the seeds I purchased from them. They are the only seed company that I have found that has the Algoflash fertilizers.

I purchase many of my vegetable seeds from Park Seed. They grow well here in my small mountain veggie garden in Vermont, and the taste and quality of the veggies are excellent. I also have purchased my self-folding tomato cages (space savers when stored for the winter) and various other tools from them. My favorite is Park Seed's Bio Dome Seed-Starting System. It is compact and easy to use. I start all my daylily and tomato seeds under the dome during the winter months. No mess, no fuss, developing strong and excellent root systems and very healthy plants that I can transplant into 5'' pots to be hardened off outside in the spring. I just place it in a south-facing window, add a little water with a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the well of this small unit, and watch the seeds germinate. Bio Domes come in many different sizes. Although this is a more expensive way to start seeds, for me it beats having styrofoam cups, filled with seed starter mix, and heat lamps taking up a lot of space in my dining room. It really is a miniature green house with its own growing environment. It is also great for dormant daylily seeds that take longer to germinate. Adding a heating pad under the bio-dome keeps the seeds or seedlings warm inside the unit and promotes faster germination. The system is portable and easy to move if I need the space for a dinner party. Park Seed introduced this system about 5 yrs. ago. I absolutely love it, and I heartily recommend it.

I have gotten many annual seeds from Park Seed for years and they always do well.

This year, I bought two blueberry bushes. They came packed just perfectly and I had blueberries to eat the first season.

I received an email from Park Seed on January 18 that my seeds had shipped. They are about 2 hours away.

When I had not received them by January 28, I called and they said they would send the seeds again.

The original seed order arrived that afternoon and because there was tracking, I assumed they would know I had received them and not send the second order.

On February 8, the second order did in fact arrive.

I called and they told me to keep both sets of seeds.

I was very thankful and this speaks to their integrity.

While their reputation was hurt after the Park family sold the company and service declined in 2011, another set of new owners(local investors, I hear) rescued the company last year and I am very happy with my dealings with them this spring. They are located an hour away from me, but I mail-ordered a meyer lemon and several types of seeds, and all were satisfactory. Already have baby lemons on my deck. This is one of the oldest seed companies in the country, started in the 1800s, and I like to support them. They have a large general selection of veggies, flowers, trees, etc. I figure I save on shipping because it's one-stop shopping. While they don't carry hard-to-find plants or natives, they do have the tried and true. Great way for beginners to load up on some basics.
