Today I had a nice surprise.
An unexpected packet of seeds came in the mail.
They were because of a filling error in a packet of seed that I had ordered last fall.
They had sent new packets which contained the correct count of seeds!
Not only is Renee's reliable---their seeds usually give good germination.

I have purchased seed from Renee's several times and have always been happy with the viability of the product. Last spring I planted a variety of pole and bush beans and had great success with them. I planted a climbing summer squash 'Trombetta' for the first time. What a terrific and prolific plant! I planted only 4 seeds and could not believe the amount of squash they produced. They produced well through the heat and into the fall. Renee's seeds have always been high quality. Will continue to purchase from them.

Great selection of organic and non-GMO and heirloom vegetables. Some herbs and flowers as well. A bit pricey, but not too much so. Nice selection of morning glory and sweet peas - many species not easily found elsewhere.

I haven't ordered seeds in years. I went to Renee's on the recommendation of someone else. I was VERY happy. I am especially thrilled with the Persian pickles as I was looking for cucumbers grown just for this reason: to pickle and to resemble the pickles labeled "Persian." I have already pickled a few jars and waited all of 2 weeks to try them, and success! Not only are they "close"; they are a match! Keep in mind that Renee's sells heirlooms and non-GM seeds, so keep an eye out for disease vectors. I also purchased heirloom runner beans and hyacinth beans that have (along with some morning glories) completely covered the front porch, far exceeding expected growth. The purple pods are amazing, beautiful. Highly recommend!!!!!
