We often have a situation in which difficult weeds are growing too close to our good plants, and herbicide spray might drift to the good plants. Herbicide application can be handled by brushing the herbicide solution onto the weeds.

Many of us use online catalogues, but the paper copies still keep coming. They are useful to others who do not use technology, so we should drop them off at a senior center or other book exchange place. Our grocer has a bookshelf at the exit and I drop the paper catalogues there.

While the ideas on growing are given---please do not take plant material from the wild. Obtain the plant material from Native Plant growers/nurseries. Many wildflowers are in danger of extinction due to people harvesting wildflowers in the wild.
