We just love this little garden cart! Felco pruners- built to last. Tools get worked hard here at NGA headquarters. Felcos are our hand-down favorite hand pruners. We have Felco hand pruners that are 18 years old, and although we've never had to discard a pair, we do have to replace them when they wander off. The red handle gets two (green) thumbs way up from us- they aren't lost nearly as easily!!
This tray for wheelbarrows is perhaps the most nifty gardening gadget I've seen in quite a few years. The number of times we've tried to juggle handtools, a shovel, water, and potted plants while wheeling around a wheelbarrow is innumerable. Getting whacked in the head with the rake, newly potted seedlings falling over, and stuff falling over the sides. Not to mention arriving at your destination and digging around in the corners to try to find your handtools that have buried themselves somewhere. Finally, a solution. This tray fits 4, 5, 6, and 7 cubic-foot wheelbarrows and holds every tool you'll need for a day of playing in the soil.
I used to bring a plastic tote or a bucket around with me to do my weeding. No more! Those bulky items have been replaced with these lightweight containers. Perfect to throw the weeds into for transport to the compost bin! Watch out for thorns, though- best to stick with something more rigid when it's time to prune the roses.
