Evergreen. 20 inches tall (but gets taller at my house). I got this one from Jack Church about 7 yrs ago. Transplanted it from my old house to my new house & it did fine. Always has lots of scapes & blooms. Is one of the first ones to bloom here.

Evergreen means: The foliage habit of daylilies that retain their foliage throughout the year. In cold winter climates, evergreen daylilies over-winter as a mound of frozen pale green foliage. Evergreens may resume growth during a mid-winter thaw in mild climates. Evergreen daylilies do not set resting buds.

*** 2022: It did not do well this yr. A few yrs ago it was the first one to bloom in the garden and had dozens of buds/blooms. This past summer it did not. I'm not sure why. But it could need fertilizer or to be moved somewhere else. I never understood about Evergreens before now and maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe it does better when we dont' have such a cold winter. I don't know.
